What are the payment options?
When you place an order, you will receive an email where we can discuss payment! I accept cash, check, venmo or paypal
What is your return policy?
There are no returns or exchanges, unless your product arrives severely damaged. If so, please email a picture and description of the damage to themenstrualmission@gmail.com
Shipping options?
I ship anywhere in the US. If you live in or near Washington DC, the shipping is free and you should select the shipping option "shipping in or near DC" at checkout. If you live anywhere else in the US, shipping is a flat rate of $5 and please select "ship anywhere in US" at check out. Please allow up to 2 full weeks after the fundraiser ends for your products to arrive - I will try my best to get your order in the mail a week after you place it, but I am a college student & the only one working on this project so please be patient!
Where do the profits go?
100% of the profits of your purchase will be used to buy supplies to fill Period Kits. This can include pads, tampons, panty liners, re-useable menstrual products, hand sanitizer, feminine and durable bags. These kits will all be donated to homeless and low income folks & students in the DMV area.
What comes with my purchase?
Every purchase will include the items you ordered, along with a handwritten Thank You card from The Menstrual Mission's founder & a note that details how the profits from your purchase were used and who they benefit, so you can see the impact of your donation.
What is The Menstrual Mission?
We are a community organization who just applied to be an LLC Non-Profit in the state of Maryland & a 501(c)(3) Federally recognized Non-Profit. We supply those in need in the DMV area with Period Kits, that contain everything one would need for a single menstrual cycle. We were founded a year and a half ago and have since collected over 16,000 individual period products & donated over 1,066 Period Kits. This is all possible through donations of products and funds, fundraisers like this one, grants and corporate sponsorships.
